Mais cette colline \u00e9tait habit\u00e9e par un ermite, Cheeria Nathji, qui maudit les lieux apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 chass\u00e9. Pour apaiser cette mal\u00e9diction, un homme du nom de Raja Ram Meghwal accepta d\u2019\u00eatre enterr\u00e9 vivant dans les fondations. Sa famille fut honor\u00e9e et sa m\u00e9moire est toujours c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9e chaque ann\u00e9e.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Cette origine myst\u00e9rieuse donne le ton \u00e0 un fort hors du commun.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une Forteresse Royale \u00e0 Travers les \u00c2ges<\/h3>\n\n<p>Au fil des si\u00e8cles, les souverains successifs agrandirent le fort, y ajoutant des bastions, des palais majestueux et des sanctuaires. Le fort devint le centre du pouvoir et de la culture de la dynastie Rathore. Malgr\u00e9 les guerres et les troubles politiques, Mehrangarh ne fut jamais conquis gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa position strat\u00e9gique et ses d\u00e9fenses imprenables.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Sous les r\u00e8gnes de Maharaja Ajit Singh et Takhat Singh, le fort fut embelli avec des plafonds dor\u00e9s, des panneaux finement sculpt\u00e9s et des chambres richement d\u00e9cor\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"gb-element-fcf478bc\">\n<p>Aujourd\u2019hui encore, la famille royale de Jodhpur, descendante des Rathore, est la gardienne de ce complexe spectaculaire, d\u00e9sormais l\u2019un des sites patrimoniaux les mieux conserv\u00e9s de l\u2019Inde.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.
